Vintage Winfield Inn Wedding in Kyle
Filled with colorful details and old hollywood vibes
Hello lovelies—today’s Austin wedding feature is full of charm, color and old Hollywood magic in all the best ways. Lindsey and Brandon’s Winfield Inn wedding in Kyle, TX was full of color, heart and intentional little moments that made it feel so personal. I’m still swooning over the way they brought old Hollywood vibes to this dreamy Texas mansion wedding.
When Lindsey first reached out, I loved her vision right away. She’s got that effortlessly cool energy—she plays in a surf rock band called the Sea Hagzzz (!!)—and Brandon is equally low-key and down to earth. The two of them are so sweet and just clearly in love. I am so lucky and grateful to have been part of their insanely special day.
A Hidden Gem of a Kyle Wedding Venue
The Winfield Inn in Kyle, TX, is such a fun and unique space—and it’s just a short drive from Austin (which we LOVE). With its vintage architecture, lush oak trees, and elegant indoor rooms, it’s the kind of place filled with character from every angle—perfect for a laid-back vintage celebration. Brandon actually plays in a few pool leagues, so when they saw the antique pool table in the groom’s suite, it sealed the deal. (You bet we got some fun photos of him playing before the ceremony!)
If you’re looking for a Kyle wedding venue that combines charm, history, and versatility—all with that dreamy Austin-adjacent location—this is it.

We must take a moment for this STUNNING oak tree backdrop ❤️🔥

Not to mention, one of the rooms had a pool table for the guys. Which was right up Brandon’s alley. (He’s in a recreational pool club, so this venue had his sign off immediately when he saw that!)
Old Hollywood GLAM DETAILS
Lindsey looked like she walked straight off the silver screen—her wedding-day style gave gorgeous old Hollywood glamour.
And the best part?
Every detail was all them, from Lindsey’s colorful bouquet to their romantic private vow exchange before the ceremony (one of my favorite parts of the whole day).
Why I love when couples “marie kondo” their timeline
The importance of creating a timeline that brings you joy
These two built a wedding timeline that reflected who they are—easygoing, heartfelt and intentional. Lindsey and Brandon really didn’t want to have all the attention on them all day. So after the ceremony, they shared dinner alone inside the mansion while their guests mingled outside. I thought that was such a beautiful touch—some quiet time together before the party kicked into full swing.
Another thing I really appreciated about this day? The space and time we had to let real moments unfold. Because we didn’t rush their timeline, I was able to capture so many sweet, candid moments—those in-between glimpses that often become the most meaningful photos later. Their sweet Ursa was their special pup of honor (and was there to the very end—even late into the reception!) and was such a cutie patootie.
They kept the reception simple and fun—speeches, dancing and a sweet nod to Lindsey’s love of The Beatles. For a couple who describe themselves as shy, they danced the night away with their people and it was the sweetest thing to see them let loose with those they love most.
“We had such an amazing experience with Christy! She did our engagement and wedding photos and they were exactly what I was looking for. My husband and I are a little camera shy, but she made us feel so comfortable and it shows in the final product. Cannot recommend her enough! Book her!”
